The duo relished amazing Mumbai street food that included everything from vada pav, pav bhaji, misal pav, to sev puri. Karan Aujla On Making Blunders And Forgetting Lyrics
During the interview, Karan Aujla revealed that the best moment of his life was when he performed in Vancouver, Canada, where he stayed for over 10 years. His family, including his sisters, were also present to watch him perform, which added an emotional touch to the show. Continuing the conversation, Kamiya asked him if there was any moment when he made a blunder or forgot his lyrics during a performance. Replying to this, the singer said, “Lyrics toh main bohot bhool jaata hoon. Matlab gaate hue koi aur hi antara gaa diya.” (“I forget lyrics a lot. I mean, I end up singing a completely different verse”).
Sharing a weird fan interaction while performing, he added, “Ek baar main London mein tha, at a legendary venue, aur kisi ne jutta nikal kar maar diya aur mere pe laga. I was like, ‘Oyy kya hua, shoe laga. Sahi hai bezzati.’ Maine kaha yaar itna kharab gaa raha hoon, toh bola ‘nahi nahi, sign chahiye.’ I was like, ‘Shoe par sign chahiye?’” (“Once I was in London at a legendary venue, and someone threw a shoe, which hit me. I was like, ‘Oh, what just happened? A shoe hit me. That’s such an insult.’ I thought I was doing really badly, but then the boy said, ‘No, no, I want your autograph.’ I was like, ‘You want me to sign the shoe?’”). The fan further added that he just wanted to throw the shoe to get it signed, but it mistakenly hit Karan’s face.
First Meet With Shah Rukh Khan
When asked whether he had met Shah Rukh Khan, Karan Aujla replied positively. He said, “We were just talking yesterday because Aryan (SRK’s son) is coming with such a great project, and I was very happy for him.” Sharing the incident of his first meet with Shah Rukh Khan, the Tauba Tauba singer said he met him during IIFA in Abu Dhabi and loved the way SRK treated him. He further added that SRK made him feel like a king.
