The third and most recent Indian lunar exploration mission, Chandrayaan-3, has landed on the Moon! Like the Chandrayaan-2, it comprises a lander named Vikram and a rover named Pragyan. Its propulsion system performs orbital functions. And now India has become the fourth nation to land a spacecraft on the Moon!

Chandrayaan-3 Finally Lands On The Moon!

Prior to the launch, ISRO declared that it is prepared to start the mission’s autonomous landing sequence, which is planned to begin at 5.44 pm. On July 14, Chandrayaan-3 was launched. Only the United States, Russia, and China, in addition to India, have successfully executed a soft landing on the surface of the only natural satellite of the planet. After the successful landing, India has become the fourth country in the world to land a spacecraft on the Moon!

Today at 6:04 pm, the Chandrayaan-3 Moon Mission of the Indian Space Research Organisation made a flawless soft landing. At 5:20 pm, a live broadcast of the landing operations started. Additionally, it is accessible via the ISRO website, Doordarshan TV, and several social networking sites.

PM Modi Congratulates The Entire Nation

After the successful landing of the spacecraft, Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated ISRO and the entire nation. According to his tweet, this is a historic win for the Indian space sector.

Besides him, the BCCI also extended their best wishes to ISRO for this successful win.

South Indian actor Prithviraj Sukumaran took to X former (former Twitter) and conveyed his congratulations with ‘What a momentous milestone!’

Another South Indian actor Chiranjeevi Konidela congratulated everyone. He further requested everyone to join in the celebration of a billion Indians.

Raghav Chaddha, Member of Parliament, tweeted by writing that the spacecraft imprints our identity on the southern frontier of the Moon. he further wrote that this is a testament to ISRO’s indomitable spirit, hard work and commitment to their work. And the sky is not the limit, but it is our launchpad!

The objective of launching Chandrayaan-3 was to observe and demonstrate the rover’s loitering capabilities.
