Joshimath’s Soil Subsidence Might Prove To Be A Challenge

The yatra this year will take place against the backdrop of Joshimath‘s subsidence, which is around 45 kilometres from Badrinath and could present difficulties for the authorities. Joshimath, also referred to as the “gateway to Badrinath,” is the final significant stop for pilgrims on the only road to the holy city.

The authorities have clearly mentioned that all the pilgrims who want to be a part of the Char Dham Yatra will have to undergo a medical checkup. They have asked pilgrims to provide their correct phone numbers. Registration is super mandatory, and if you are driving your own vehicle, the registration of the vehicle is also necessary.
