Chennai International Airport is now home to a brand new terminal. This new integrated terminal is the latest addition to the airport to handle the growing number of passengers and increase the capacity. Spanning over an area of 2,20,972 sq m, this innovative infrastructure will surely blow your mind with its grandeur. It is all set to be inaugurated in a couple of days. Here’s all you need to know about this new terminal building.

PM Narendra Modi To Inaugurate The New Terminal Of The Chennai International Airport

Modi Ji will be present at the airport on 8 April 2023 to inaugurate this new terminal. He will inaugurate the first phase of the new state-of-the-art terminal building, as shared by the Ministry of Civil Aviation, Government of India in a tweet.

Along with opening this new terminal, PM Modi will also be inaugurating the brand new Vande Bharat Express. This is the 12th Vande Bharat Express train in India and it is going to be operating between Chennai and Coimbatore, covering 495.28 km in 6 hours and 10 minutes.
