In Chikkamagaluru’s Narasimharaja Pura, a new resort project is set to boost tourism. The Karnataka State Tourism Development Corporation (KSTDC) is investing ₹10 crore into this ambitious project, the Times of India reported. Spread over three acres, the resort will be situated near the bridge that connects Honnekoodige village to the Bhadra backwaters.

The project plans include a variety of attractions to make this a prime tourism destination. A Detailed Project Report (DPR) has already been prepared. The designs include a theme park, a children’s park, and a number of charming cottages, as per the Times of India reports. Water sports and boating facilities will also be available, making the area ideal for both relaxation and adventure.

The proximity of the Bhadra backwaters to the resort site is an added advantage. Visitors will be treated to picturesque views and serene experiences. A check dam next to the bridge is also planned to guarantee water retention in the backwaters throughout the year, making the resort even more attractive to tourists.
