Christopher Nolan Is Coming To India For The Odyssey Premiere With Tom Holland & Matt Damon

Attention, Nolanites of India! Academy Award-winning filmmaker Christopher Nolan is coming to India this July for The Odyssey, his first-ever film premiere in the country. Christopher Nolan To Attend The Odyssey India Premiere

In one of the most significant Hollywood film visits to ever happen in India, Christopher Nolan, Matt Damon and Tom Holland will arrive in Mumbai for The Odyssey premiere this July. Part oft he global premiere tour, Mumbai is an official stop for the crew, placed alongside London, Paris and New York.

The mythic action epic also stars Anne Hathaway, Zendaya, Robert Pattinson, Charlize Theron, Elliot Page, and Travis Scott. Written for the screen and directed by Nolan, the film revolves around the saga of Odysseus’s 10-year voyage home after the collapse of Troy.

Significant Hollywood India Premiere

The Odyssey’s much-awaited film premiere in Mumbai, as per Universal Pictures International, will happen at PVR Icon IMAX at Phoenix Palladium. This will be Christopher Nolan’s first-ever film premiere in India. For Nolan fans, AKA Nolanites, it will be a historic moment to witness one of global cinema’s most celebrated filmmakers.

While the organisers are yet to reveal the official date of The Odyssey cast’s Mumbai visit, it will happen ahead of July 17, the film’s global theatrical release. Nolan’s films like The Batman trilogy, Tenet, Dunkirk, Inception and his last release, Oppenheimer, have been loved and embraced by the Indian audiences who’ve flocked to theatres, especially IMAX screens, in hordes for his larger-than-life films.

The Odyssey marks the filmmaker’s yet another magnum opus that follows the journey of Odysseus, the emperor of Ithaca. In the aftermath of the Trojan War, the film charts the journey of Odysseus back home.
