We have grown up watching the famous Indian serial, C.I.D. From the intriguing stories to the cast, we loved everything about the show. One of our favourite characters in the Crime Investigation Department was Fredricks played by Dinesh Phandis. We have heartbreaking news to share with Freddy’s fans. The beloved actor passed away today at the age of 57. It has been some time since he was suffering from extensive health problems. After a lot of treatment and efforts to save him, he took his last breath on Tuesday.

Dinesh Phadnis Died At 12:08 AM On Tuesday

Taking to the X (formerly Twitter), Mayank Pandey (@MayankP36121336) shared his condolences to the actor’s family and friends.

The C.I.D. actor was admitted to the Tunga Hospital in Mumbai. He faced many health complications as he suffered from liver damage. He was rushed to the hospital on December 1, according to a report by India Today. Several reports stated that he suffered a cardiac arrest on Sunday. But the actual news was confirmed by his C.I.D. co-actor Dayanand Shetty. He shared that Dinesh suffered from liver damage and not a cardiac arrest.

The news of Dinesh’s death was confirmed by Dayanand Shetty. In a conversation with the Indian Express, the actor shared that Dinesh Phadnis took his last breath at 12:08 AM on Tuesday. He was undergoing treatment at the Tunga Hospital. He was in his late 50s. The 57-year-old actor was on ventilator support at the hospital. It was yesterday when he was removed from the ventilator.

Dayanand Shetty talked about how Dinesh Phadnis had to face many health complications. In the end, he passed away because of suffering from multiple organ failure. The actor was facing health issues for some time and had to be taken to the hospital a couple of days before his demise. Unfortunately, he could not be saved and passed away at the age of 57 years. The funeral process occurred at 10:30 AM in Mumbai.
