Atul Kulkarni Was As An Insurance Agent Before Becoming An Actor
We were in very deep conversations with Atul Kulkarni while also simultaneously enjoying the yummy Maharashtrian Thali at Sujata Upahar Gruha. We were curious to know what was his job before he landed in the film industry. Atul told us that he briefly worked as an insurance agent before he became a flourishing actor!
It was kind of a side hustle for him as he took up this job when he was still doing his “amateur theatre bit in Solapur”. He clarified it was nothing serious and only became an insurance agent for a short period. Further, he said that he looked after his father’s business and he would get paid in cash.
Did You Know He Enjoys Solo Travels?
After hearing about his story of being an insurance agent, we went on to the topic of travelling. We were curious to know if he loves to travel and where all his passion for travelling has taken him. Atul Kulkarni said to us that he likes to travel and takes a trip to the ‘Peninsula of Peninsulas’, Europe, once a year. It is to be noted here that he travels to Europe alone and he said that he thoroughly enjoys it, every time. Major FOMO!
Further, he went on to list his favourite destinations from the land of Europe. They are Salzburg, Austria, the Netherlands, and Giethoorn. He also went on to say that he is never picky about food and absolutely loves to indulge in the local delicacies. He never misses out on the cuisines of a new place because it makes him feel more like a local. We do agree that mingling with the locals and trying to adapt to their culture makes the travelling experience a much more enjoyable trip.
He likes to visit small towns and take advantage of everything the area has to offer. He appreciates the privacy these places offer. With such a popular face and name, we understand his reason for choosing quaint little places over popular areas. He also gave us the name of his next destination.
