The Wildlife Conservation Efforts In Madhya Pradesh
After a fun game of ‘This or That’ with CM Mohan Yadav, Kamiya Jani asked him the one thing he loves the most about Madhya Pradesh, and he instantly replied that he is most proud of the booming state of wildlife. Whether it’s the increasing population of tigers or the presence of cheetahs, the conservation efforts in the state have truly been fruitful.
He even shared a great achievement: in 2022, they launched a project and brought 20 cheetahs from Namibia, and today, the population has doubled, a truly remarkable victory. Shedding more light on upcoming projects, he revealed that the team is currently working on the conservation of tortoises and gharials. The team of experts works on their eggs for at least 3 years before finally releasing them into the Chambal River. Even this year, they released at least 100 of them into the water, marking a great feat for the state and its efforts to preserve wildlife.
CM Mohan Yadav’s Family Doesn’t Live With Him
During the conversation, CM Mohan Yadav ji also shared how his family doesn’t reside with him in his official residence. Wondering why? Well, because he believes that his children haven’t earned this honour. They live in their hometown, as he feels they should work hard and achieve these things on their own. He feels privileged to have received this honour and wants his children to become self-made, successful individuals just like him.
