The Spanish hotel group Palladium Hotel Group plans to launch its Middle Eastern expansion with a stay in the UAE. The massive global network of opulent hotels is getting ready to launch a new brand called Ushuaïa Unexpected Hotels and Residences. It includes locations in Ibiza, Spain, Mexico, Italy, Jamaica, and other places.
Ushuaïa Unexpected Hotels and Residences Coming To Al Marjan Island
This new property is being developed on Al Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah. And by the renowned ultra-luxury developers Al Marjan and Almal Real Estate Development. Al Marjan is an award-winning developer. It will be the first foreign trip for the renowned Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel. It was founded in Ibiza and is currently a part of the Ushuaïa Unexpected Hotels & Residences.
The highly ambitious project is anticipated to draw in more than $100 million in investment. Further, it will include 442 hotel rooms and residential apartments. With breathtaking, expansive views of the Arabian Gulf, the resort will have an elegant infinity pool, a smart beach club, and a sumptuous restaurant! The new business section, the branded homes, will be integrated into the current hotel structure.

This massive expansion is expected to happen in 2026, and beginning at the end of the summer of 2024, the brand identity at its current home ground will gradually change. Both the Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel, which has 234 rooms and suites, and The Unexpected Ibiza Hotel, which has 181 rooms and suites, will undergo extensive renovations at Playa d’en Bossa.
This new age will provide both returning and first-time visitors. With a blend of the luxurious lodging experience, fine dining, and the iconic entertainment that transformed Ibiza! The Ushuaïa Tower is scheduled to undergo renovations by the end of 2025. As part of the new brand, it will be renamed The Unexpected Ibiza Hotel.

With the renowned Wynn Resorts from Las Vegas coming to Marjan Island, Ras Al Khaimah, in early 2027—complete with a massive 1,000 rooms and more—there are huge things in store for the island.
