If you regularly travel via the Delhi-Gurgaon Expressway, get ready to shell out more money at the toll naka because the toll rates have just been revised. The National Highway Authority of India or the NHAI recently released the revised toll rates for the Delhi-Gurgaon Expressway and the Sohna elevated road. The new rates will come into effect from April 1. Here are all of the other important details that you would need to know about the revised toll rates.

Here’s The Revised Toll Rate For Delhi-Gurgaon Expressway

According to an article which was recently published by the Hindustan Times or HT, the hike in toll rates is between four to five per cent depending on the type of vehicle. The new rates at the Kherki Daula Toll Plaza for private cars will be ₹85 for private cars where it used to be ₹80.

Multipla axle vehicles, buses and trucks will now have to pay ₹250 instead of ₹245 per trip. Motorists who have monthly passes will now have to pay ₹930 instead of ₹920 for personal cars. For commercial cars and jeeps, the rate is now ₹1,225 instead of ₹1,215.

There has not been any increase in the toll rates for light commercial vehicles and minibuses. It is still the same as ₹120. The toll rates for the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway are yet to be released.

These Are The Revised Toll Rates For Sohna Elevated Road

For the Sohna elevated road, the revised rate for light commercial vehicles is ₹205 now instead of ₹200. Trucks and buses with two axles will pay ₹430 instead of ₹420 and trucks with three axles will have to pay ₹465 instead of ₹455.

Monthly passes for motorists on this road will be ₹340 instead of ₹330. This revision of rates is an annual exercise and the changes in prices are connected to the wholesale price index.
