Once June arrives, ITA which is an Italian airline will commence direct flights from Riyadh to Rome. This was revealed in a report by the Saudi Gazette that stated that the announcement was made by the Saudi General Authority of Civil Aviation. The announcement, which was made on Tuesday, May 28, is undoubtedly a new travel milestone. So, once June arrives, the airline will begin five weekly flights. This will, in turn, enhance the air connectivity between Saudi Arabia and Italy.

A Part Of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030

At this point, it’s worth mentioning that this development is a part of Saudi Arabia’s ongoing effort, which comes under Vision 2030. With the aim of establishing the kingdom as the global logistics hub, regular flights are being introduced. So, this will facilitate not just easy travel but even foster economic and cultural exchange between the nations. It should be noted that this strengthening of the airline comes after the positive assessment by an Italian delegation, which was led by the Italian Commercial Attaché.
