Yes, it will be connecting direct flights between Hanimaadhoo International Airport and Bengaluru’s Kempegowda International Airport. Here’s more about this new development related to the airline.

Maldivian To Start Hanimaadhoo-Bengaluru Airport

The Maldivian has announced that it will be launching new direct flights. These will be servicing between these flights will be servicing. The Kempegowda International Airport in Bangalore and the Hanimaadhoo International Airport in the Maldives. This new route will begin on May 15, 2025, which is an important milestone for its regional expansion strategy. Yes, with this new route, there will be an essential bridge between the northern Maldives and the Silicon Valley of India.

Hanimaadhoo And Bengaluru Flights

Coming to the flights, the Q2-738 will depart from Hanimaadhoo at 10:35 PM, local time, and the flight will arrive at Bengaluru at 1:45 AM IST. These flights will be operated on Sundays and Thursdays. The return flight, which is Q2-739, will depart from Bengaluru at 2:45 IST and will arrive at Hanimaadhoo at 4:55 AM local time. These flights from Bengaluru will be operational on Mondays and Fridays. It’s worth mentioning that these flights will be operated via the ATR 42-600.
