The world has come to a stand-still, events have been cancelled, schools and colleges are shut and everything’s almost coming to a lockdown. However, it feels nice to realize that no matter what, humanity is alive! A host of celebrities have had to cancel plans last minute after events were called off in various parts of the world. But that did not deter them from entertaining fans who are stuck indoors.
With the increasing need for social distancing increasing, celebrities have taken advantage of the virtual world and it looks like this is the new normal. It all started off when Cold Play’s lead singer Chris Martin tweeted about the live streaming of his impromptu performance. This was, his way of cheering up fans who are stuck indoors.
Hello everyone. I hope you and your family are safe and healthy. If anyone feels like chatting and listening to some music, I’m going to do a livestream on the Coldplay Instagram in about 30 mins (1pm in LA / 8pm in London). love CM #TogetherAtHome

Very soon, American singer John Legend followed suit. He announced on Instagram: “Social distancing is important, but that doesn’t mean it has to be boring. I did a little at-home performance to help lift your spirits. @Miguel, @CharliePuth – you want next?”
