Amidst the coronavirus threat, supermarkets in UAE have been instructed to maintain a distance of 1.5 metres between customers at billing counters and in queues. Retail outlets and supermarkets have adhered to the new rule by installing placards and floor signs to educate customers on the same. Furthermore, trolleys are cleaned and sanitized every 15 minutes as a safety measure.
The Abu Dhabi Government Media Office tweeted: “Crowding and queues for purchases are to be prevented, and a distance of at least 1.5 metres kept between shoppers in queues, indicated by signs on the ground.”

Once you log in, enter in your location. The app will then automatically generate a list of supermarkets next to you. You can then choose the supermarket of your choice, and order away. 2. Trolley.ae
This app is again very similar to Instashop. It offers a delivery service from any of the listed supermarkets on the application. Choose your shop, make an order, and get free delivery on all orders above AED 100.

3. El Grocer
This is yet another middleman application, that offers similar services. Once again, pick from a list of supermarkets and place an order. The delivery is said to come within an hour, and is completely free. The application also comes in arabic for those who prefer that language.
