According to the update, public secondary school pupils above the age of 12 who attend must take a PCR test before they return to class following the break. Private Schools Are Not Making PCR Tests Mandatory
The Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) has clarified that the new COVID-19 regulations, which were issued by the National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority on Tuesday, August 23, only apply to students above the age of 12 who attend public schools. Children in grades 2 and above must wear masks at private schools in Dubai.
No matter their age, parents are urged to keep their kids home if they exhibit any of the following symptoms. A temperature of 37.5°C or higher, a cough, body aches or fatigue, shortness of breath. Moreover, a sore throat, a runny nose, loss of sense of taste or smell, diarrhoea or nausea, vomiting, and a headache.
