Imagine someone using an egg to do full face makeup. It seems impossible and unbelievable, right? Well, shockingly this is a viral trend on social media where creators replace makeup brushes and sponges and instead use a boiled egg to layer makeup products on the face.
A Creator Did Her Makeup With A Boiled Egg

The makeup creator began the video by suggesting using a boiled egg if someone does not have a beauty blender. First, she drops enough amount of foundation on the egg and then uses it to apply it all over her face. We can see her trying to blend the product nicely. Along with the foundation, she used the food item to draw her eyebrows, add eyeshadow to her eyelids, and apply lipstick as well.
The video is a proper example to show that an egg can never replace beauty blenders and makeup sponges to blend makeup products. The foundation does not look even everywhere. Also, the application of eyebrow products and the eyeshadow are not up to the mark or closer in comparison to the result we get by using sponges and brushes.
The challenge of doing full face makeup using boiled eggs began about 7 years back. It was a crazy viral trend back then but soon, it got buried under all the next viral trends. Looks like a similar concept is making a comeback once again as several creators are trying out the challenge of using makeup products and applying everything on the face with the help of a boiled egg.

Instagrammers are having a laugh watching the reel and the bizarre way of doing makeup. As usual, many Netizens are commenting on the unusual technique shown in this video. A comment read, “6 grams of protein wasted.” Someone commented, “Meanwhile brother after coming back from gym: Mera annda ke sath Holi kisne kheli.” Another person even called this way of doing makeup with a boiled egg “Egg- dum bekaar.”
