1. e& Introduces Green SIM Cards

They have introduced an eco-friendly Green SIM card for their UAE customers ahead of COP28. In line with the year of sustainability 2023, it aims to promote sustainability in its overall development to reach the 2030 net zero target. Not to mention, it also aims to reduce environmental impact and to promote sustainability as the key factor.

2. Trial Phase Of The Delivery Riders Hub Project Launched

The Department of Municipalities & Transport has launched the trial phase of the Delivery Riders Hub project. Under this, there are comprehensive plans to enhance the safety and well-being of delivery bike drivers. Moreover, there are also supporting efforts, which aim to elevate the quality of life and wellbeing for everybody in the emirate.

As it happens, the Delivery Riders Hub initiative provides rest and shelter for riders! And with there being an allocation of safe and comfortable stations across the emirate, amenities are bound to be enhanced. This also includes providing dedicated areas for drivers to recuperate!

3. Saudia Announces Green Fly Day Offer

There’s an ongoing sale that’s being run by the Saudia that travellers would want to check out. Yes under this, they’re offering up to 30% off on tickets to international destinations. However, this offer is only valid on tickets purchased upto November 29, 2023 and the travel period should be December 1 to March 10, 2024. As it happens, this offer is applicable on round trip and one-way flights as well, and on Economy and Business class. However, it’s worth noting that it’s subject to availability. It should be mentioned here that discounts are not applicable on the dates between January 3 and 11, 2024 and February 21 and 28, 2024.

4. No Vehicles On Sheikh Zayed Road For Dubai Run

Also the busiest highway, the Sheikh Zayed Road will be transforming into the world’s largest running track. With the Dubai Run event slated to take place this weekend, there will be no vehicles on the road. Yes, it will be emptied of the vehicles before the runners take off on Sunday, November 26. It’s worth noting that this will also be marking the conclusion of the Dubai Fitness Challenge.

5. New Chef’s Table Culinary Experience At Habtoor Grand Resort, Autograph Collection

Luciano, a chic Italian restaurant, at Habtoor Grand Resort, Autograph Collection, has introduced a private dining affair. The Chef’s Table will be serving up to four guests. And it will be available daily from 7 PM to 10 PM, priced at AED380 per person. As it happens, there will be a thoughtfully curated selection which will showcase a variety of gastronomic masterpieces! Yes, these will include everything from homemade pasta and ripe heirloom tomatoes to smoky burrata

6. Entries Open For World Triathlon Championship Series Abu Dhabi

It was recently announced that the entries have already opened for the World Triathlon Championship Series Abu Dhabi. For those who aren’t aware, this sports event will be taking place from March 8 to 9, 2024, at Yas Marina Circuit, Yas Island. Not to mention, it will be organised by the Abu Dhabi Sports Council! It’s worth mentioning that the event will gather sports enthusiasts, juniors, and elite athletes in Abu Dhabi.
