Imagine savouring the yummiest wood-fired pizza and relishing the authentic taste of Italian cuisine in pleasant weather when it’s drizzling outside. Feels like an apt time for a gastronomic experience, right? Well, I enjoyed the same culinary escapades at the newest Fabbrica outlet in Kolkata. Tucked away in Park Street’s busy lane, entering this beautiful place feels like escaping into an aesthetic paradise offering culinary wonders. I visited Fabbrica in Park Street for a wonderful lunch date accompanied by a spread of succulent delicacies and a great time.
Minimalistically Adorned Walls & Intricate Designs Stole My Heart
Fabbrica holds a special place in my heart for scrumptious pizzas. Just like its other outlets, the newest establishment in Park Street impressed me with an elaborate menu, lip-smacking dishes, interesting drinks, and an Instagrammable vibrancy surrounding the place. Entering the place looks like stepping into an Indianised world of Italy. Be ready for an immersive dining experience here.
With visitors around you, conversing in different languages, the pictures on the walls and music in the background will transport you to surreal lanes of Italy that we usually watch in movies and travel videos. The decor plays its part impeccably to add the much-desired authenticity to the newly opened cafe.
If you love posing for the ‘Gram, you are going to love Fabbrica for plenty of corners to click pictures. If you ask my favourite spots, they have to be two-facing walls decked up with black-and-white pictures of pizzas-making and glimpses of Italian stories. A major highlight is the massive wood-fired pizza oven placed on the left side of the entrance.

A Delightful Food Fiesta At Fabbrica On Park Street
Okay, I have elaborated enough about the pleasant decor and cherishable ambience and now, I am about to take you on a virtual sumptuous culinary experience at Fabbrica. If you love Italian cuisine, your heart, soul, taste buds, and tummy are ready to enjoy the most spectacular time here. Spoiler alert: the menu spoilt me for choices and you will be confused about what to order seeing tons of sinful options to dig in.
Fabbrica curated a special spread of mouth-watering dishes for me. The palatable delicacies were paired fantastically with Portofino suggested by a bartender. I prefer sipping lightly flavoured cocktails with a slight hint of aromatic indulgences and this zesty gin-based cocktail was everything I wanted. In addition, I loved munching on Marinated Mixed Olives with this drink. Next, I indulged in a gourmet feast of Marinated Mixed Olives, Risotto Asparagi, Focacce Parma, Ravioli, and Calabrese Pizza.
Was I full by the time I completed relishing the first couple of toothsome dishes? Totally. Did I continue gorging on the next heavenly treats? Absolutely. Each delicacy served on the table was a savoury blend of subtle flavours and aromas in an authentic Italian food palate.
What’s For Dessert?
Amid all these great experiences, the waiting time was disappointing. While I saw visitors left and right getting their orders served swiftly, I, on the other hand, had to wait for quite some time for the dishes to be plated and served. By the time, the waiter served a bowl of Gelato Artigianale – Sicilian ‘pistachio di bronte’, I was late and too full to grab another bite. But rules never apply to desserts, right? There’s always room for desserts and keeping that in mind, I thought of taking just a few bites.
Well, surprise! I did not listen to what I thought of initially, quite obviously. I ended up with an extremely stuffed belly but a very happy soul devouring each bite of the pistachio-rich dessert.
Thoughts, Reviews & More About Park Street’s Fabbrica
If you are wondering about the portion sizes, the answers are different for all delights on the menu. While wood-fired pizzas are huge and cannot be devoured by one, risotto and ravioli may seem overpriced based on the portion sizes. However, the luscious taste, the inclusion of high-quality ingredients, and the overall experience can suffice the pricey tags.
I have been to other Fabbrica outlets in the ‘City of Joy’ previously. Like the old establishments, the newest one did not disappoint. My recent visit to Fabbrica in Park Street was simply magnificent. Apart from wonderful vibes, the cherry on top has to be some of the dishes served. On my next visit, I am definitely ordering Gelato Artigianale – Sicilian ‘pistachio di bronte’. And for ravioli, pizza, and risotto, I would prefer exploring new options.
To sum up everything and provide the most straightforward review, Park Street’s Fabbrica is worth a visit.
