Phones out, jaws dropped, eyes glued to the water. After five months of silence, Dubai Fountain roared back to life at Burj Lake, and let’s just say… it did not disappoint. Tourists, locals, random passersby—everyone seemed to gather as if they had a single mission: witness the comeback.

You could feel the anticipation buzzing in the air with the number of people gathered around to get a glimpse of the fountain. A countdown started, voices merging, and then the first note of Emsaha Dubai by Coral Al Emarat hit. The fountains rose towards the sky, twisting, swirling, and hitting beats in the most magnificent way expected.
Music That Makes You Stop
The spectacle barely paused. Thirty minutes later, it came back, this time with Andrea Bocelli and Sarah Brightman’s Time to Say Goodbye. I swear, the crowd fell silent, mesmerised. Water shot sky-high, lights flashed like they were having a party of their own, and the music? Goosebumps central.
Next up, Grammy-winning Christopher Tin’s track hit, adding a touch of cinematic flair. Then, a Mandarin pop hit brought big smiles to a tour group from China. And, naturally, Adele’s Skyfall made its comeback. The crowd went wild with cheers, claps, the whole lot. Honestly, who’s surprised? That song has basically become a Dubai Fountain tradition at this point.
Can’t Stop Watching
The first show started at 6.30 pm, but most people weren’t leaving. Not a chance. Every half hour, a new performance rolled out, and the crowd just soaked it in. Phones stayed out, eyes stayed wide, and for once, nobody seemed in a rush. After all, it’s not just water and lights, it’s a little nightly miracle in the middle of the city.

Plan Your Visit
Here’s the practical bit: evening shows run every 30 minutes from 6 pm to 11 pm, daily. Afternoon performances happen at 1 pm and 1.30 pm from Saturday to Thursday, and 2 pm and 2.30 pm on Fridays. If you can swing it, stick around for a few shows—the fountain changes personality with every song, and honestly, it’s worth it.
At the end of the night, Dubai Fountain isn’t just back—it’s almost bragging now, in that flashy, unapologetic way Dubai does best.
