1. North Bombay Sarvajanik Durgotsav

Durga Puja at North Bombay Sarvajanik Durgotsav in Juhu is hosted by the third generation of the Mukerji family, including Bollywood actresses Rani Mukerji and Kajol. This is one of the grandest pandals in Mumbai that attracts many celebrities from the Hindi entertainment industry. Apart from Rani and Kajol, stars like Alia Bhatt, Bipasha Basu, and Jaya Bachchan have also been regular visitors to this pandal over the years. This 5-day celebration hosted by the Mukerji family ensures an unforgettable experience for the devotees. 2.  Lokhandwala Durgotsav

For more than 25 years, renowned singer Abhijeet Bhattacharya has been organising Lokhandwala Durgotsav in Andheri, Mumbai. Celebrating the festival traditionally, here you’ll be amazed to see people performing dhunuchi naach. Also, there are various food stalls filled with some of the most famous Bengali delicacies that look absolutely drool-worthy. Every year, the pandal welcomes celebrities and Mumbaikars alike. Over the years, actors like Rhea Chakraborty, Bharti Singh, and Katrina Kaif have visited this pandal. 

3. MBCA Durga Puja

MBCA Durga Puja is organised by legendary singer Kumar Sanu. This pandal is set up at Lokhandwala in Mumbai, and every year it draws several A-list stars. The Deol family, including Dharmendra, is are frequent visitor, along with politicians like Eknath Shinde. At this pandal, devotees gather to celebrate and worship Goddess Durga with great joy. What makes it different from other pandals is that the singer adds a special musical charm to the celebration. If you’re in the city, don’t miss out on visiting this pandal.

4. Biswajit Chatterjee’s Puja Pandal

For years, veteran actor Biswajit Chatterjee has been hosting his family’s Durga Puja in Juhu. The actor’s son, Prosenjit Chatterjee, also takes part in the celebration. Their pandal at Juhu Club Millennial has become a favourite spot for celebrities. Hrithik Roshan and Rakesh Roshan have been some of the most famous celebrities spotted at this pandal. Along with rituals, the Chatterjee family also organises delightful feasts. With their constant efforts, the Chatterjee family ensure to make the celebration grand and traditional each year.

5. Balkanji Bari Pandal

Another Durga Puja pandal frequently visited by the Mukerji family is organised at Santacruz, Mumbai. Every year, three sisters, Rani, Kajol, and Tanisha, attend this pandal. This pandal is always a highlight among fans and media. Events like Sindoor Khela, where married women come together to celebrate, are some of the major attractions. Bollywood stars such as Bipasha Basu and Sushmita Sen also join in the festivities. At this pandal, you’ll get to witness celebrities and devotees worshipping Goddess Durga with unmatched energy.

6. Ramakrishna Mission

The Ramakrishna Mission in Khar, Mumbai, hosts one of the most traditional Durga Puja celebrations in the city. The highlight of the celebration at this pandal is Kumari Puja held on Ashtami, where young girls are worshipped as a form of the goddess. This pandal is famous because of its age-old customs. Along with worshipping Goddess Durga, here you can also spot some Bollywood celebrities like Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan–who visit this pandal annually.
