Anime fans, mark your calendars and clear your schedules. The World of Studio Ghibli lands in Abu Dhabi for the first time on May 30, 2026. Taking over Manarat Al Saadiyat with 16 immersive galleries has been announced by Abu Dhabi Events on Instagram.
Expect full-scale sets inspired by My Neighbour Totoro, Spirited Away, Kiki’s Delivery Service, and Princess Mononoke. You can wait in the rain with Totoro. Ride the train with No Face. Step inside Howl’s Moving Castle. This is built for interaction.
The exhibition runs until August 20, includes an exclusive audio trail, and offers behind-the-scenes insights that fans usually only read about. Entry remains free for children under three.
