According to The Daily Jagran, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said people in Delhi and nearby cities, including Gurugram, Noida, Ghaziabad and Faridabad, may see light to moderate rainfall at least till August 8.

However, people are advised to stay careful, as heavy rain can also cause waterlogging in low-lying areas and traffic snarls across the city. Reportedly, states like Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand and West Bengal may also experience light to heavy rainfall over the next few days. Residents can also expect thunderstorms, gusty winds and lightning.

Hilly States, Kerala & Northeast Also On Rain Alert
The hilly regions of India will also witness heavy downpours. According to The Daily Jagran, the weather department has predicted heavy rain in Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand from August 4 to 7.
There may also be thunderstorms and winds with speeds of up to 30-40 kmph. There is also a possibility of flash floods and landslides in vulnerable areas. Tourists have been advised to follow all guidelines and plan their travel accordingly.
A warning has also been issued for heavy rain in Kerala and Karnataka. Residents in northeastern states, including Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya and Sikkim, should also brace for heavy rain over the next few days. According to India.com, Maharashtra’s Mumbai, Thane, Pune, Nashik and Nagpur will witness heavy rain on August 4.
