Sharjah: UAE Resident Saves Dehydrated Kitten Under Scorching Sun In Heart-Warming Video

A UAE resident in Sharjah gave an excellent example of compassion in a now-viral video on Instagram. Yes, it’s no secret that temperatures are soaring high in the UAE. So, naturally, everybody is affected, and this includes animals. In the video, a woman can be seen rescuing a little kitten on Sharjah Bridge while travelling near Sharjah Airport.

As posted by Instagram handle @ty_tornado_bundy, a small kitten was seen on the side of the road on the pavement. A UAE resident who was travelling near Sharjah Airport, spotted the little one and was prompted to take a second look after mistaking it for an object on the side of the bridge the first time. After this, she got out of the car and could be seen chasing the little kitten, who was desperately trying to get away.

Under the scorching sun, the dehydrated kitten was trying to get away. After a 20-minute chase under the unforgiving sun, she finally got hold of the little furball. After this, she quickly sat inside the vehicle and turned on the AC to full. After all, the priority was cooling down the little kitten and starting to hydrate the baby. In the video, the woman is seen carefully feeding water to the kitten, directly from the bottle.

The kitten was lapping at the water, looking severely dehydrated. Then the woman offered tuna paste treats, which she had on her. The kitten ate it up and looked much better than before. Once the kitten had cooled down, it instantly became calmer. She took the kitten home and started to care for it while monitoring its recovery.

The Kitten Is Safe & Recovering

With the kitten now safe and recovering, one is reminded how the UAE sun can be unforgiving during the summer. And there are many such little creatures out there who might be exhausted and dehydrated under the sun. So, it does not take long to help them and to ensure they are safe and rehydrated. Such simple acts will only take a moment for you, but they can be life-changing for the ones receiving this care.
