Qatar is turning up the excitement this September with a packed calendar of events for sports fans, music lovers and culture seekers. The month brings international artists, high-energy competitions, captivating performances and experiences that celebrate local traditions. With so much to see and do, these eight events are worth adding to the September agenda.

1. Katara International Hunting & Falcons Exhibition

Falconry has deep roots in Qatari culture, and S’hail – Katara International Hunting and Falcons Exhibition honours that legacy as it returns for its 10th edition at Katara Cultural Village. The event brings together enthusiasts, specialists, and the latest in hunting and falconry gear. It remains one of the region’s most anticipated celebrations of tradition and craftsmanship.

2. Seashore Phoenix Games 2026

Functional fitness fans, mark your calendars as Seashore Phoenix Games returns to Aspire Zone’s Ladies Sports Hall for its sixth edition. The men’s competition runs from September 10th to 12th, followed by a private, women-only competition from September 13th to 14th. Athletes will compete across seven categories, including Individual, Team, Masters 40+ and Rookies. A points-based system will determine the fittest in the region, with special prizes awarded to the Top 3 Qatari nationals.

3. John Legend Live

Music lovers, this one’s for you as John Legend, the 13-time Grammy winner, brings his soulful sound to the stage for an exclusive one-night performance. Marking two decades in the music industry, the show promises intimate, stripped-back versions of classics like “All of Me,” “Ordinary People,” and “Tonight,”. Plus, the event also has a lineup of fan favourites from his legendary catalogue.

4. Tchaikovsky’s Piano Concerto No.1

Get ready for Romantic-era brilliance as conductor Enrique Diemecke and the Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra welcome pianist Jae Hong Park, winner of the 2021 Busoni International Piano Competition, to perform Tchaikovsky’s Piano Concerto No. 1. Known for its unforgettable opening theme, the concerto unfolds into a powerful display of deep emotion and musical brilliance. It is followed by Manfred, a haunting symphony inspired by Byron’s tale of a tormented wanderer.

5. Taha Desouky 

Kalam Fadi is bringing the house down with Taha Desouky’s brand-new show, “Let’s Make It Personal!” a night packed with wit, warmth, and relatable storytelling. Taha’s career spans stand-up, television and film, showcasing his versatility as a comedian and performer. He has a talent for finding humour in everyday moments, creating a show that is both heartfelt and hilarious.

6. Pink Floyd Legacy Live

Rock fans, this is a rare one as “Pink Floyd Legacy” brings its exclusive Middle East debut to Qatar with “The Door to the East,” marking 60 years since the band’s 1965 formation. Leading the show is Durga McBroom, Pink Floyd’s backing vocalist from 1987 to 1994, who performed on classic albums like The Division Bell. Expect a spectacular concert experience powered by state-of-the-art sound and lighting designed to capture the atmosphere of Pink Floyd’s iconic performances.

India’s celebrated playback and independent artist Sid Sriram is bringing his signature soulful sound to the stage for one unmissable night.
