Five Guys Just Opened Its 7th Dubai Location At Ibn Battuta Mall & We’re Already Drooling!

Burger lovers in the south-west side of Dubai just got a proper reason to head to Ibn Battuta Mall; Five Guys has landed. It’s the American burger chain’s latest UAE outpost, and this one feels less about chasing tourist footfall and more about settling in close to the people who actually live nearby.

A New Neighbourhood Spot For South-West Dubai

Sitting along Sheikh Zayed Road between Jebel Ali and Discovery Gardens, Ibn Battuta Mall has always pulled from a wide catchment, with Jebel Ali Village, JLT, Al Furjan and The Gardens all within easy reach.

What it hasn’t had until now is its own Five Guys, which meant a slightly longer drive for anyone craving a proper made-to-order burger. That gap’s now closed.

What Makes Five Guys, Well, Five Guys?

If you haven’t been yet, the appeal is fairly simple: everything is made to order. Nothing is pre-made and waiting under a heat lamp. Buns, patties, and toppings are all handled fresh, while the hand-cut fries are cooked in peanut oil, a detail regulars tend to bring up first.

Five Guys claims there are more than 250,000 ways to build a burger. And if that sounds like marketing exaggeration, it mostly isn’t. With free toppings, multiple patty options, and a build-your-own approach, two people rarely end up ordering exactly the same thing twice. The milkshakes get the same treatment, with more than 100 mix-in combinations to choose from.

Part Of A Bigger UAE Growth Story

The Ibn Battuta opening isn’t a standalone move. It’s the latest step in Five Guys’ steady expansion across the UAE.

The chain now has 18 outlets across four Emirates, with existing Dubai locations at:

• Dubai Mall
• City Walk
• Dubai Hills Mall
• Dubai Festival City
• JBR
• Circle Mall, JVC

There are also branches across Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and Ras Al Khaimah. Ibn Battuta Mall is the newest addition to that list and arguably one of the more community-focused ones, given how residential the surrounding area actually is. For Southwest Dubai residents who’ve been driving across town for their burger fix, this one’s a straightforward win: same menu, same customisation chaos, just a lot closer to home.
