1. Lalbaugcha Raja

The most famous mandal of Ganesh Chaturthi, Lalbaugcha Raja’s first look has officially been unveiled. Established in 1934, this year marks its 92nd celebration. Known as the “King of Lalbaug,” the mandal attracts lakhs of devotees every year. Adorned with exquisite ornaments and a gold crown, devotees can visit the mandal for ten days. This year, the theme of Lalbaugcha Raja mandal revolves around the Tirupati Balaji deity, appearing extremely divine and captivating. 

2. G.S.B. Seva Mandal

Another iconic Ganpati idol ready for the festivities is at G.S.B. Seva Mandal. This is Mumbai’s most expensive Ganpati idol! Adorned with 69 kg of gold and 336 kg of silver, the idol is set up for darshan for five days to celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi 2025. The festivities will be held at King’s Circle in Sion from August 27. This majestic Ganesha pandal in Mumbai is truly mesmerising. 

3. Raja Tejukayacha

Raja Tejukayacha, a part of the Tejukaya Sarvajanik Ganeshotsav Mandal, is revered for its use of eco-friendly materials like paper, gunja, coconut husk, and natural paint to adorn the idol. For Ganesh Chaturthi 2025, this Ganpati Bappa appears in a warrior avatar. The 22-foot idol also represents devotion, artistry, and sustainability. Besides that, Raja Tejukayacha Ganesha pandal also holds a significant place in Mumbai’s Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations every year.

4. Mumbaicha Raja


Another famous pandal, Mumbaicha Raja at Ganesh Galli, Lalbaug, has also unveiled its first look just days before the grand celebrations on August 27. This year, the idol stands tall at 22 feet, radiating grace, beauty, and divinity. Furthermore, for the past 45 years, artisans have handcrafted Mumbaicha Raja without using moulds. Yet the idol turns out perfect every year. For Ganesh Chaturthi 2025, the Mumbaicha Raja Ganesha pandal in Mumbai follows the theme of Rameshwaram Temple in Tamil Nadu. It will offer devotees a unique South Indian temple experience. 

5. Chinchpokli Chachintamani

Established in 1920, Chinchpokli Cha Chintamani is one of Mumbai’s oldest and most revered Ganpati pandals. Famous for its intricate craftsmanship, it is loved by devotees across the city. Its first look has been revealed ahead of Ganesh Chaturthi this year. Moreover, the grand unveiling in Parel featured vibrant processions,  dhol beats, and devotees continuously chanting “Ganpati Bappa Morya.”

6. Andhericha Raja

One of Mumbai’s longest-running Ganesh Chaturthi pandals in Mumbai, Andhericha Raja, hosts its idol for 15 days. Known as “Navasala Pavnata Ganpati,” this Ganpati Bappa is believed to fulfil wishes. Though smaller than other idols, the devotional atmosphere makes it a must-visit for every Mumbaikar.

7. Khetwadi Ganraj


Reaching almost 40 feet in height, Khetwadicha Ganraj idols are usually designed around mythological narratives or as replicas of famous landmarks. Moreover, every year, the idol combines artistic elements with royal decor, creating a stunning visual. Established in 1959, this Ganesha pandal in Mumbai continues to attract a large number of devotees annually for Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations. 

8. Girgaon Cha Raja

Girgaon Cha Raja stands out as a prominent Ganpati idol set for Ganesh Chaturthi 2025. Unlike other Ganesha pandals in Mumbai, this idol is made entirely from natural clay, making it eco-friendly and sustainable. The eco-friendly idol makes way for a safer immersion process for the marine environment. Devotees cherish Girgaon Cha Raja every year for its soulful and authentic celebrations. The festival fills the hearts and minds of every Mumbaikar with peace and spirituality.
