CTExclusive: World’s 1st Michelin-Starred Vegetarian Restaurant, Avatara Is Finally In India In Mumbai

In the realm of haute cuisine, where culinary excellence meets artistic innovation, a significant shift has been underway. While the conventional image of fine dining often conjures visions of succulent meats and delicate seafood creations, a new trend has emerged – one that celebrates the elegance and creativity of vegetarian gastronomy. At the helm is the World’s first and only vegetarian Indian Michelin-starred restaurant, Avatara. The star restaurant is going to make its grand launch in Mumbai on April 8, 2024, the day of its formal unveiling.

Avatara Is Coming To Mumbai

Avatara, a vegetarian Indian fine dining experience with a Michelin star, is based in Dubai and is part of the prestigious Passion F&B family, which also includes prestigious Dubai-based restaurants like Tresind Studio, Tresind, Carnival by Tresind, Bistro Aamara, Maison De Curry, A Cappella, and Revelry. The founders of Avatara, Chefs Rahul Rana and Himanshu Saini, set out to break culinary conventions and created a fine-dining Indian restaurant that’s exclusively vegetarian.

At INR 4500++, Avatara Mumbai’s carefully crafted 14-course vegetarian degustation menu is a symphony of flavours. With a seating capacity of 65 people for a single meal, the restaurant offers cosy areas like the Main Dining Room, Private Dining Room, and Wine Cellar.
