PM Modi Visits Queen Of Denmark At Amalienborg Palace
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is currently on his ‘3-days, 3 nation’ Europe tour. As part of his tour, he met Queen of Denmark Margrethe II at her prestigious palace. Amalienborg Palace in Copenhagen houses the royal family of Denmark. It has four identical palace facades and an octagonal courtyard. Visitors can visit two of the four Amalienborg rococo palaces. It’s open for tourism.

As part of his visit, PM Modi was invited to a private dinner with Her Majesty on May 3, where he met the members of the Danish royal family. According to a report by Hindustan Times, PM Modi briefed Her Majesty on the progress of the India-Denmark ties in recent years and also appreciate the role of the Danish Royal Family in advancing social ties. Before he departs for Paris to meet French President Emmanuel Macron, PM Modi also took part in the second India-Nordic summit.
