Horror Fans, Go On Haunted Walks Across Delhi Monuments
Sssshhhhhh…. koi hai! You never know, you may feel the presence of a spirit in a haunted monument in the capital. Delhi will launch heritage walks to haunted monuments. Delhi Tourism Department shall commence the walking tours on a pilot basis at Tughlaqabad Fort, Bhuli Bhatiyari ka Mahal, Feroz Shah Kotla and Malcha Mahal. Around 6 ghost walks will be conducted at each monument every day.
An official revealed to TOI that the haunted walk shall span 2 to 3 hours. What elevates the experience is the presence of a storyteller, walk conductor, registered tour guide or historian. This individual shall narrate haunted stories about the eerie monument — that over the years has left Delhiites curious and even given them shivers down their spines. The storyteller will also introduce walkers to the history of both Delhi and the monument in front of them. One tourism department official will also join in.
