If you thought that you can spot spirits only at night, this place might prove you wrong. Sources say that spirits might be spotted on this lonely route even during the day. Locals claim that the place has several spirits, and people strolling through the path during late afternoon might even get possessed by one of them.

2. D’Mello House

Located in Santimol, this down-at-hill mansion looks right out of a haunted movie. The dingy rooms, the shabby walls and the plants growing here and there ooze out highly mysterious vibes. It is believed that two brothers living in this house had killed each other over property issues. Since then, nobody could reside in the house. Locals say that bizarre sounds can be heard from the mansion at night.

3. Three Kings Church

Two stories can be heard behind this church in Casualim village. One says that the church has derived its name from three scholar kings who had visited Lord Jesus during his birth. The other claims that the area was formerly ruled by three Portuguese monarchs. One of them poisoned the other two kings out of a desire for dominance. However, the locals eventually learned of his misdeed, and the third king also killed himself by ingesting poison. According to some sources, the kings were interred beneath the church. It is believed that the ghosts of these kings still haunt the chapel,

4. Jakni Bandh

A harrowing school bus accident on this bridge had killed all the kids inside this bus. It is reported that wails of children are heard at the place at night. The bridge lies between Navelim and Drampur.

5. The Rodrigues Home

It is said that in this Verna mansion, windows and doors open and close all by themselves. People around have reported seeing fluctuating lights and things moving on their own. It is also said that objects even disappear from the place at night. The Rodrigues family still reside here.
