Mumbai Metro One Receives Four ISO Certifications
Mumbai Metro One has been honoured with four ISO certifications. According to the Free Press Journal, Mumbai Metro One Private Limited (MMOPL) received certifications on September 26, 2026 and claims to be the first to receive certification combining the Integrated Management System (IMS) and Information Security Management System (ISMS).
What Do These Certifications Mean?
The new ISO certifications will help Mumbai Metro One manage its work in a more organised way. They will improve daily operations, make administrative work smoother, and help the company handle operational risks better. Also, with these certifications, MMOPL will follow internationally recognised standards for managing its work and information.

Chennai Metro Yellow Line Fares Announced
The Chennai Metro Yellow Line is all set to begin operations on October 11, and ahead of the launch, the fares for each station have been released. This new line will make travel easier between Poonamallee and Vadapalani. The fares are super affordable, starting from ₹10 and going up to ₹40.
If you’re taking a short ride from Poonamallee to Poonamallee Bus Stand, you’ll have to pay ₹10. Fares rise to ₹20 for stations like Poonamallee Government Hospital, Karayanchavadi, Kumananchavadi, and Kattupakkam, while Ayyappanthangal, Thelliyagaram, Porur Bypass Road, and Porur Junction cost ₹30. Planning to travel from Poonamallee all the way to Vadapalani? The full journey will cost ₹40.
