Lambi Dehar Mines, nestled at a distance of around 10 kilometres from Mussoorie Mall Road, sits amid the mist-wrapped forests and towering mountains. The scenic excellence of the location can bowl over any nature lover. But the site holds blood-curdling secrets and is believed to be one of the most haunted spots in Uttarakhand. Lambi Dehar Mines In Mussoorie Is Haunted By The Spirits Of 50,000 Mine Workers

Lambi Dehar Mines is known to be haunted by the spirits of over 50,000 mine workers who had mysteriously died in the mines in 1990. Amid the conspicuous silence, Lambi Dehar Mines carries an intensely spooky vibe that can run chills down your spine. If you interact with the natives, they might even advise you to stay away from the location as they believe in the presence of a negative woman spirit here. Locals say that the mine workers had died near the site due to faulty mining practices, by coughing blood. After that, the mine got shut down. There have been stories of shrieks and cries heard from the mines in the wee hours of the night. Many strange accidents, including a helicopter crash, had also taken place near the site.
