Delhi Commuters Advised To Plan Journeys In Advance
According to The Economic Times, commuters travelling through West Delhi’s Najafgarh-Uttam Nagar stretch are likely to face congestion for the next one-and-a-half months. The affected stretch lies on the Najafgarh-Uttam Nagar Main Road from Dwarka Mod towards Uttam Nagar, between Metro Pillars 722 and 723. The area usually sees heavy movement of buses, commercial vehicles and local traffic. Since the roads will be closed, nearby stretches may witness increased traffic during peak hours.
Vehicles coming from the Najafgarh side towards Uttam Nagar have been advised to divert through Dwarka Mod towards Dabri Mor. Buses and heavy vehicles travelling from Tilak Nagar and Uttam Nagar towards Najafgarh and Dwarka Mod will also be redirected through alternative routes.
Traffic personnel have also been deployed at important junctions to prevent bottlenecks. Officials have requested local residents and daily commuters to avoid the affected road and plan their journeys in advance. Plus, it is also advised to stay updated with real-time traffic updates on social media platforms and official helplines.
