Sadhguru

This time our Editor-in-Chief, Kamiya Jani, met one of India’s most recognised spiritual gurus, Sadhguru. She toured the Isha Yoga Center in Coimbatore, ate a healthy breakfast, and discussed life and everything in between. He talked about the time he cycled the South Indian coastline. He remembers each and everything he saw on that trip! Read on to learn more about his cycling journey across southern India.

Sadhguru Cycled Across Southern India

While on the topic of travelling, Sadhguru spoke to us about his cycling trip across south India. He shared that there is nothing touristy about the way he travels. He chooses to skip all the touristy spots and enjoys observing the diverse terrains of the Indian landscape.

He did exactly that when he cycled all over the Western Ghats to Kerala. Next, he went motorcycling across South India! All of this was to experience the beautiful landscapes of southern India as he said, “I didn’t go anywhere. I just travelled! I loved the terrain of India.”

Further, he shared that he still remembers “a funny-looking rock or a crooked tree” while exploring the ghats. This tells us that he remembers his adventures through life and nature and not significant monuments or tourist sites. This habit allows him to replay those events in his mind like a video.

It is safe to say that he has his memories stored as movie clips from around the world! This sounds so cool, Sadhguru!
