Shah Rukh Khan’s popular movie Yes Boss came out in 1997 and completed 27 years today. To commemorate this event, a fan took to social media and shared many interesting facts about the movie. For instance, did you know that part of a famous song in Yes Boss was shot at the Vashi station in Navi Mumbai? Here are some other fascinating and interesting insights and facts about the movie.

Perhaps one of the most interesting facts about this particular movie is that parts of the famous song, Chaand Taare, were shot at the Vashi Station in Navi Mumbai. A user on X (formerly known as Twitter) shared a number of interesting facts about the movie.

They also shared this Vashi fact. However, many people contended this and said that it was shot at the Juinagar station which is also in Vashi. One commenter clarified that the parts of the songs shot inside the railway station are from Juinagar station; however, the exterior shots are from Vashi station.

Other interesting shooting locations in the movie also include Bern in Switzerland. The song “Mai Koi Aisa Geet” was shot there. The movie was widely loved and was one of King Khan’s most well-known works.

It also inspired a Malayalam movie, Junior, Senior which was released in 2005. Additionally, the Jackie Shroff was considered for the role of the villain. However, ultimately, the role went to Aditya Pancholi. He was nominated for a Filmfare Award. As a matter of fact, the movie was nominated for a total of 6 categories at the Filmfare Awards that year.
