Netizens Think The Challenge Is “Too Easy”

Another agreed, “It’s just 3 dosas!” Someone humorously commented, “Keep your money, I’ll eat it for free.” And another proudly claimed, “I eat 20-25 dosas straight from the pan while waiting behind my mom in the kitchen…I can easily finish this!”

The dosa, a beloved culinary delight, finds its origin in the rich tapestry of South Indian cuisine. Tracing back centuries, its roots can be found in the ancient cooking practices of the region. Originally known as “dosai” in Tamil, this iconic dish is believed to have emerged in the present-day state of Tamil Nadu.

The traditional dosa batter is made from a combination of soaked and ground rice and urad dal (black gram), fermented overnight. The batter is then spread thinly on a hot griddle, creating a golden, crispy crepe with a slightly spongy texture.

Over the years, the dosa has evolved into numerous delightful variations, both in India and beyond, each region putting its own unique spin on the recipe. From masala dosa filled with spiced potato filling to yummy cheese or egg dosa, culinary creativity knows no bounds.
