Sector 1, Saltlake in Kolkata is home to many cosy cafes and gorgeous pubs. But did you know about this hidden gem perched high on the 8th floor of the marvellous Golden Tulip hotel? Noir, the open-air sky bar is loved for many reasons- the spacious rooftop, sassy cocktails, sumptuous food, soothing live music and the sparkling hot tub. You can grab a juice and talk for hours with your friends or bae ( plan up a romantic date maybe) for hours while drenching your feet inside the cool water of the hot tub and looking at the breathtaking skyline of Saltlake.
A Date-Worthy Ambience, Right Under The Open Sky
If there is one place in the heart of Kolkata where you can take your boo for that perfect first date, that definitely has to be Noir. Unlike most pubs, the music isn’t too loud here, so you can relax at your own comfort. The music, in fact, is very soothing. Live performers lift up the moods of the guests with their heartwarming guitar chords. The eatery has two different spaces- the sitting lounge and the elevated hot tub. One can enjoy food and drinks in the grub lounge, but by the hot tub, only juices are allowed.
All That You Can Eat!
Coming to food, they serve delectable Indian and Italian dishes, along with some amazing desserts. From their Rajasthani Fare, you can try out the Kadhi Pakodi, Dal Bati Churma and Gatta Masala. We absolutely loved the Classic Baked Pasta and Barbeque Chicken Pizza from their Italian options.
And you’ll fall in love with their combos too. Our favourite was the non-vegetarian tikki platter comprising 2 pieces of Chicken Shami Kebab, 2 pieces of Tawa Murgh, 2 pieces of Mutton Seekh Kebab and 2 pieces of Baby Laccha Paratha. The guys have got a veg kebab platter too. Love prawns? Nosh on their Risotti Gamberi, which is Italian rice with prawn.
