1. Rise In The Population Of Abu Dhabi

Recently, it was revealed that the population in Abu Dhabi has risen to just under 3.8 million. The report from the Statistics Centre – Abu Dhabi mentioned that currently, 37,89,860 people are living in Abu Dhabi. Out of this, 67% were male! As it happens, the median age was calculated to be 33 as revealed by the Abu Dhabi Media Office.
2. Salam Air to Fly Between Muscat & Delhi

Salam Air, which is an Omani airline has revealed that it will be launching direct flights between Muscat and Delhi. Expected to take off on July 2, 2024, this airline will be operating two flights per week. This will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays and the flight OV727 is expected to depart from the Muscat Airport at 2:15 and arrive at Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi at 6:45, local time.

3. More Driverless Cars In Abu Dhabi

On Monday, June 10, the UAE cabinet expanded the rules surrounding traffic. Yes, according to the new Federal Traffic Law, people can see more driverless cars on the road. It’s worth mentioning that the remit of the vehicle that can be registered on Abu Dhabi Roads will also include self-driving cars, several forms of personal transportation, and electric cars.
4. Etihad Airways & Egypt Air Sign MoU
Etihad Airways and Egypt Air have signed a Memorandum of Understanding. Strengthening their partnership, the aim is to enhance commercial and operational ties between the airlines. As a result, travellers will be given wider choices, high-quality of service, and of course an increase in the value of the ticket.
5. Emiratis To Take Hajj Pilgrimage This Week
About 4600 Emiratis are expected to travel from the DXB to Saudi Arabia for the pilgrimage this week. Authorities have joined forces for ensuring smoother journeys of thousands of UAE citizens. It’s certainly going to be a busy summer at the airport, as the pilgrimage coincides with the summer travel season. In fact, more than 3.7 million people are expected to pass through the DXB in the coming days.
