The BGC report unveils the best global cities for work—London. It is attributed to five features:

1. Primary language – English

2. An extraordinary global network that leverages relationships inside the Commonwealth and reflects the fact that a large portion of the talent currently employed in London is from outside the country.

3. Plenty of financial opportunities.

4. A welcoming and multi-cultural brand.

5. Access to Europe and the USA.

In addition to this, Amsterdam continues to be the 2nd destination metropolis. But Dubai and Abu Dhabi, the two UAE cities, have emerged among the best global cities for work and have ranked 3rd and 4th. In their most recent study, New York made a comeback to the top five, while numerous US cities were included as new entrants, making the top 30. The ranking includes nine Asia-Pacific locations, three of which—Singapore, Tokyo, and Sydney—in the top 10, in addition to well-known continental European cities like Berlin, Barcelona, Paris, Madrid, Zurich, and Vienna.
