It should also be noted that the detained passenger was supposed to board an Emirates flight. However, further details about this case are still awaited. Not to mention, this is not the first time that a passenger has been detained at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport. Recently, another man was detained after a co-passenger, heard him say the word bomb. While it was later discovered that the man was telling his mother about him not being allowed to carry a coconut on the flight on the suspicion of it being a bomb, but was instead allowed to carry pan masala. So, because of the entire ordeal, the flight had been delayed for quite some time.

Such incidents really do make us feel grateful for the security forces at the airport.
