If you’ve landed previously at the Dubai International Airport (DXB) for a stopover flight or as the destination, then you will be aware of how dazzling it is. There are many retail outlets offering a range of fancy things that will leave you truly spoilt for choice. And now, the Dubai Media Office, in its recent tweet, mentioned that Dubai Duty Free is the world’s top retail outlet! Yes, they have contributed about AED105+ billion in sales over the last four decades. These figures are hardly surprising, as the massive retail area is spread over a whopping 40,000 square metres.

Not to mention in the year 2022 itself, it recorded a massive AED6.3 billion in sales, which is an increase of 77 per cent. Sounds stellar, doesn’t it?
