Foodies, here’s your chance to drown in food! The seventh edition of the Dubai Food Festival will kick off very soon and all foodies are invited to the city-wide event. The event will happen from 26 February to 12 March and Nakheel mall is giving you a golden opportunity to win a relaxed staycation in a luxurious hotel.

What’s It?

Nakheel Mall on Palm Jumeirah is serving up the chance to win a luxury hotel stay on Palm Jumeirah! spend AED 150 or more at any restaurant  until 14 March and win a luxurious staycation.

Hotels participating in the spin and win competition include Fairmont The Palm, Sofitel Dubai The Palm and W Dubai The Palm. The package includes one night’s stay for two people with breakfast. The luxurious offer is complemented by live stage shows featuring real-life characters from Tom and Jerry, Shaun the Sheep and Masha and the Bear. As well as you can enjoy roaming entertainment, live bands and regular weekend pop up stalls from now until 21 March.

Kids Have A Little Something Too

That’s not all! There’s something for the kids too. Masha and the Bear fans can sing along and watch characters come alive. Nostalgic adults and youngsters can enjoy a lively stage show starring real-life versions of Tom and Jerry, from the Warner Bros. cartoon comedy series. These not-to-be-missed shows will run every Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 4:30 pm, 7 pm and 9 pm from 3 February to 21 March.

Shaun the Sheep, the popular spin-off of British animated TV series, Wallace and Gromit, will take to the Nakheel Mall stage each Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 4:30 pm, 7 pm and 9 pm from 5 to 21 March.

Live Entertainment

Meanwhile, Dubai’s Melodica Music and Dance Institute will showcase its young and talented students from 14 to 17 February. Guests can witness roaming entertainment throughout the mall every day until 14 March. Besides, there will also be a daily live musician takeover from until 18 April.

And lastly, foodies can go food hopping in the pop stalls while shopaholics can pick flower crowns, personalised goods and much more.

Restaurant Week

The Restaurant week will make a comeback this DFF, with a wide range of restaurants in the city offering signature dishes at reduced rates. For over seven days, foodies can binge on their favourites from various restaurants in the city. More details about the official selection is yet to be announced, but we’re already drooling about the menu.

Beach Canteen

Fancy grabbing a bite along the sea shore? This year’s food fest has that too. Visitors can enjoy the markets, pop up stalls, live music and family-friendly activities at the Sunset beach. Plus, you can also savor signature dishes and gourmet delicacies by top notch chefs, attend live cooking workshops or sign up for free yoga classes by the beach. Oh and there’s a play area for kids too. So you don’t have to worry about keeping them occupied while you treat your tastebuds.

Hidden gems

While Dubai’s biggies in the culinary field never go unnoticed, the hidden gems in the city’s nooks and corners tend to be forgotten. The DFF provides these master chefs a platform, bringing them to the forefront. Besides, the new list of hidden gems in the city will be released on the Zomato app.
