Majid Al Futtaim has thrown open the doors to Explorers today, giving Dubai its only large-scale indoor kids’ destination that brings free-play adventure and expert-led workshops together under one roof. Located at City Centre Mirdif and built for children aged one to 12, Explorers is designed to make family outings easier.

It’s genuinely more enjoyable, with every space geared towards movement, creativity and hands-on discovery rather than passive entertainment.
Three Adventure Play Zones
- Wildwood Treetops — an abstract soft-play world with more than 20 interactive elements. Think a suspended net-based playground complete with balconies, towers, tunnels, pods and spiral slides for kids who want to climb, swing and explore
- Little Acorns — a dedicated toddler zone, built around safe, age-appropriate play that supports early development
- River Play — a sensory-rich space where kids experiment and learn through interactive stations inspired by science, technology, engineering and maths

Four Hands-On Workshops
- Mamalu Kitchen — cooking classes covering everything from pizza and pasta to sushi, ramen, breads and cupcakes
- StuDIYo Lab — an introduction to woodworking through guided projects and specially designed kits
- Confidence Lab — public speaking, creative writing and performance-based activities to build communication and storytelling skills
- Picasso Artists — an art playground covering fluid art, drip art, resin art, tie-dye and more
There’s also a Pottery studio open to guests of any age, where you can paint ceramics over treats and refreshments, making it one of the few spaces at Explorers that works just as well for a parents’ catch-up as it does for kids.
