Dubai is gearing up for yet another massive shopping festival and we just can’t keep calm! The 22nd edition of the Dubai Summer Shopping fest will kick off from June 21. Malls and other shopping outlets across the city will host massive sales, until 3 August. So, that’s six weeks of unlimited, uninterrupted shopping. Shopaholics, are you taking note?
The mega festival is organized by Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), the sale will include massive deals across the city’s malls, hotels, tourist attractions and other entertainment spots. That’s not all! In addition, residents also have the opportunity to win mega prizes.
Ahmed Al Khaja, CEO of Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), said: “There is always great anticipation and excitement among the city’s residents and visitors for Dubai Summer Surprises, so we are very pleased to reveal this edition’s dates.”
Here’s what you must not miss at the DSS 2019:
1. Six Week Sale
25% to 75% discounts on local and international brands across malls in the city.
2. Deal of the day
If you love brands and are looking for a steal deal, this is your chance. The summer sale has a deal of the day, where one brand will be on a massive discount for one day and in one location. Keep an eye on the DSS website and social media channels as the deal would be revealed only before 24 hours.
3. 12-hour sale
Just like the Dubai shopping festival, the summer sale will also kick off with a grand 12-hour sale. There will be massive discounts from 12 noon to 12 midnight on 22nd June, the first day of the summer fest. All Majid Al Futtaim malls will offer 25 per cent to 90 per cent discounts along with other surprises.
4. Weekend surprises
During the sale, every weekend one mall will host additional surprises and entertainment for that whole week. During this time, the mall will remain open until 2:00 AM.
5. Dubai Summer Surprise Pass
A DSS pass will let enjoy up to 60% discounts on over 30 attractions in the city. Grab it and head to Bollywood parks for a fun weekend with your family.
