The office isn’t the same as it used to be. And to be honest, no one is complaining. Hotels in Dubai are stepping in to fill the gap left by hybrid work. What happened? Days at work that include coffee, views of the ocean, and even a massage now and then. Two hotels, The H Dubai and Marriott Resort Palm Jumeirah, are taking advantage of this change by offering flexible “workation” packages that make it hard to tell when you’re working and when you’re relaxing.

Dubai Hotels Turn Workdays Into Beachside Vacations

The idea behind The H Dubai is simple. Add to what people expect from a workday: Wi-Fi, a desk, and coffee.

The “Work From H” packages start at AED 75 and go up from there based on how much comfort you want. The basic tier includes the most important things. You get a business lunch if you step up. If you go even further, you’ll get a neck and shoulder massage too.

The best option has a private office in a guest room for people who need to be quiet and focused. No loud cafés. No breaks. A workspace that is comfortable, like a hotel.

Then there’s the new stay offer. Guests can stay for a full 24 hours from the time they arrive, instead of having to check in at a set time. The twist? You can use the full base room rate as dining credit. If you eat well enough, your stay almost pays for itself.

Working On The Beach At Palm Jumeirah

If you think that a sea breeze helps you get things done, the Marriott Resort Palm Jumeirah has a different pitch.

The Lobby Lounge co-working passes at Palm West Beach make a regular workday much more relaxed. You still get the basics like Wi-Fi, a place to work, and drinks,, but the setting does most of the work.

The Focus Pass keeps it simple. The Dine & Deliver option adds a business lunch at Cucina, plus access to the pool, gym, and beach. Additionally, there’s the Executive Escape.

That one is serious. A private meeting room, a place for two people to work, and a whole day at the beach for the family, all in one.

The press release says that the goal is to give professionals more freedom so they can go from work to meetings to spare time without leaving the property.

Work Isn’t Leaving It’s Just Moving

People don’t just stay in hotels anymore. They are turning into offices, meeting places, and places to live all at the same time.

Most people are willing to make the switch if it means answering emails with a view of the beach instead of a blank wall.
