Malvika Sitlani Talks About Challenges Of Being A Single Mother
Malvika Sitlani admits that being a single mother and raising a baby is not easy. She says that initially her mum was of great help in this department. She helped her raise Abigail for the first year. She says, “I cannot explain how amazingly important it was. And this carried me through the year. But at the end of the night, you are alone. And it is something that you have to face. People are there with you, but ultimately they also have to get back to their own lives. So, you have to sit with yourself and sit with those feelings. You tend to sit with the guilt of not being a good mom, not being a good daughter, not being a good friend because you’re so consumed with being a mum that other roles phase out.”
She further adds, “This is not something just single mothers face, but every mother faces this, as she is trying to be all the roles that they possibly can. She’s just trying to make it to the other day.”
She Reveals Her Reasons For Moving To Dubai
Talking about moving to Dubai, she says that she wanted a fresh start. Elaborating further, Malvika mentions, “I’ve been in India ever since I can remember, and I feel like that city gave me everything that I could possibly ask for. And now, I felt that it was time for growth.”
Sharing about her move, she says that there were a lot of challenges. From legal issues to moving banks and more, all with a baby. It was certainly not easy, but it was challenging and fun. She mentions she would want to be in Dubai than anywhere else at this point in her life.
