Dubai’s favourite Japanese restaurant is getting ready for another big move. ROKA has announced plans to open a second Dubai location, this time at Six Senses The Palm, Dubai. The new venue will sit on the rooftop of the luxury resort, bringing the brand’s well-known robatayaki-style dining to one of the most talked-about hotel openings in the city.
ROKA Expands In Dubai With A New Rooftop Spot Overlooking Palm Jumeirah
For fans of ROKA, it’s a sign that the restaurant’s popularity continues to grow. The original Dubai venue in Business Bay has built a loyal following over the past few years, often attracting diners looking for lively evenings, grilled dishes and a stylish atmosphere.
A New Place For Sunset Dinners And Late Nights
Perched above the resort, the venue is expected to become a gathering spot for guests, residents and visitors looking for waterfront views alongside dinner and drinks.
While opening details are still under wraps, guests can expect many of the dishes that have helped make ROKA a recognised name around the world. That includes its signature robata-grilled specialities, contemporary Japanese plates and a carefully selected drinks menu. With its position on the West Crescent of Palm Jumeirah, diners will have sweeping views across the water, particularly during sunset hours.
ROKA’s GCC Expansion Continues
The Dubai launch is part of a wider period of growth for the brand.
In recent years, ROKA has expanded across the Gulf region, opening venues in cities including Riyadh, Kuwait and Bahrain. The company has also continued to grow internationally, with new openings reaching destinations beyond the Middle East.
Adding Another Attraction To Six Senses The Palm
The new restaurant also adds another layer to Six Senses The Palm, Dubai, which marks the hospitality brand’s first property in the UAE.
The resort has positioned itself around luxury, wellness and sustainability. ROKA’s arrival introduces a more social and energetic dining experience while still fitting into the property’s upscale atmosphere.
An official opening date hasn’t been confirmed yet. But reservations are expected to open soon, so keep an eye on it.
