Legendary Indian singer Hariharan is bringing The Mehfil Studio to Dubai on December 18, promising an evening built around some of his best-loved songs and ghazals. The concert will take place at Dubai World Trade Centre and is being presented by Spotlight Entertainment.
Hariharan Is Coming To Dubai This December
Hariharan will take the stage on December 18 for a concert designed to recreate the feeling of a traditional Indian mehfil on a large Dubai stage.
Fans can expect live performances of some of his most recognisable songs, including Tu Hi Re from Bombay, Jhonka Hawa Ka, Nahi Saamne from Taal and *Baahon Ke Darmiyan.
The set will also include selections from his celebrated ghazal repertoire, making the evening more than a straightforward Bollywood concert.
Instead, The Mehfil Studio is being positioned as an intimate, music-led experience that combines live singing with storytelling and audio-visual production.
It’s More Than Just A Concert
According to Spotlight Entertainment, the production aims to bring the atmosphere of a traditional mehfil to a large-scale Dubai event.
That means the focus is expected to remain firmly on Hariharan’s voice and the emotional quality of the music, while the production adds visual elements around the performance.
Ashwin Sancheti, Founder and Managing Director of Spotlight Entertainment, described the idea as an evening where the audience becomes part of the music rather than simply watching a performance.
The show is expected to blend nostalgia and intimacy with the scale of a major Dubai concert.
A Four-Decade Career Comes To The Stage
Hariharan has been a major name in Indian music for more than four decades.
The singer has recorded thousands of songs across several Indian languages and is known for his work across playback singing as well as ghazals.
His career has also earned him some of India’s major honours. Hariharan is a recipient of the Padma Shri and the National Film Award for Best Male Playback Singer.
For Dubai’s sizeable Indian audience, the December concert is likely to be a chance to hear many of those familiar songs performed live by the original voice behind them.

When Do Hariharan Dubai Tickets Go On Sale?
Tickets for The Mehfil Studio featuring Hariharan LIVE will go on sale on September 25 at 12 noon.
They will be available exclusively through District by Zomato.
