DXB Becomes Best Airport Worldwide
Recently, Dubai International Airport was recognised as the Best Airport in the Middle East and the Best Airport Worldwide at the Business Travellers Middle East awards. The 22nd edition of this event was held at Palazzo Versace Dubai on May 1, which awarded DXB with the two prestigious titles. These prestigious awards recognised the spectacular performance of DXB, which not only balanced high growth but also enhanced airport experiences for 66 million passengers. As a result, this propelled it forward to retain its title as the world’s number one international airport for the 9th year in a row.

Emirates, Etihad, flydubai & Qatar Airways Also Conferred With Awards

This development comes after Emirates, a Dubai-based airline was also conferred with 4 titles at the same award ceremony. One of them was for the Best Airline Worldwide and this has been awarded to them for the 10th consecutive year! The other three awards are as follows, Best Airline Worldwide, Airline with the Best Premium Economy Class, Airline with Best First Class, and Best Airport Lounge in the Middle East. As it happens, Etihad Airways also snagged three awards at the event, Airline with the Best Cabin Crew, Airline with the Best Economy Class, and Airline with the Best Frequent Flyer Program. It’s worth mentioning that flydubai also snagged an award for the Best Low-cost Airline Serving the Middle East. While Qatar Airways received recognition in the categories of Airline with the Best Regional Airline Serving in the Middle East and Best Business Class.
